outh Korean singer and leader of K-pop powerhouse Girls’ Generation TAEYEON will be coming to Singapore for ‘s… TAEYEON CONCERT in SINGAPORE on 12 January 2019, 6 PM at Singapore Expo Hall 1. This will be the very first time the multi-award winning singer is touring Singapore for a full-length concert ever since her solo debut in 2015.
‘s… TAEYEON CONCERT is the powerhouse vocalist’s second tour. The tour which is themed after “sensibility” kicked off in Seoul, South Korea where she took the stage for a two-night sold-out performance on 20 and 21 October 2018. The seasoned live performer proved her singing prowess through 24 songs in two and a half hours in front of a full-house arena at the Seoul Jamsil Indoor Gymnasium. After the most recent stop in Hong Kong, ‘s… TAEYEON CONCERT is scheduled to continue to sold-out venues in Bangkok and Manila before making its way to Singapore. Tickets to the long-awaited and highly-anticipated Singapore stop are expected to sell out quickly like her upcoming Bangkok and Manila shows where tickets were all sold out.
As the lead vocalist of the popular nine-member girl group Girls' Generation formed by SM Entertainment in 2007, TAEYEON has risen to prominence due to the group's success on the Asian music scene. She is recognised as one of the most iconic and versatile female singers of the K-POP world and is widely regarded as a "talented vocalist" for her soulful vocals. TAEYEON began a solo career in 2015 and has since released numerous well-received albums and award-winning tracks. In September 2018, she released a new single, “Lil’ Touch” alongside YOONA, SUNNY, HYOYEON, and YURI as the sub-unit Girls' Generation-Oh!GG. The song topped domestic and international charts, proving the unwavering popularity and power of Girls’ Generation.
