This year, The Vocal Consort's annual Gala concert showcases contemporary choral music
written by living composers. It will be a night of enchanting and melodious harmonies, woven
together seamlessly, consisting of beautiful pieces by Eriks Esenvalds, Richard Burchard, Jake Runestad, Ola Gjeilo and many more.

The Vocal Consort is one of Singapore’s premier community choral groups, led by
accomplished local conductor Mr Nelson Kwei. The choir marks its place in the international
choral scene through winning prestigious awards in various international choral competitions. Its recent win at the Tokyo International Choir Competition 2018 included emerging as Category Winner of the Contemporary Music category and the Best Interpretation of a Piece from Renaissance & Baroque era.

Rating / Age Limit

• Admission Rules of Esplanade :
• Admission is subject to tickets produced at the entrance.
• Infants in arms or children below the age of 6 shall not be admitted.
• 6 years old and above must purchase ticket for admission.

Late Seating Advisory

• You are strongly advised to be seated 15 minutes before the performance start time.
• No admission will be allowed into the venue once the performance has commenced.
• Exceptions may be made at Esplanade's discretion depending on the nature of the performance.
